Too much drama in your life? 2 tips to help stop it...

What kind of relationship are you in? what do your friendships look like? are these connections healthy? or are they destructive? do they lift you up? or do they shut you down until you can no longer breathe?

All relationships, irrespective of what kind they are are there to help you heal. It might not feel like it at the time but if you look closely enough you will see that each person in that relationship has 100% responsibility of creating the situation that they find themselves in.
Once you accept responsibility for your 100% share you will see that your share is showing you what parts of your history you are replaying in that relationship and probably you’re unaware until you stop and take a look.

I am realising that I’m also 100% responsible for my part in a current situation. I am bringing childhood pain along for the ride. Which means that I am also projecting my issues onto the other person. It is not their fault that I bring this with me, and yet I now know that I’m 100% responsible for my actions. Just like they are 100% responsible for their actions in co-creating this situation too.

so what to do about it? ask the following two questions:
1 - How am I creating this conflict?
2 - How can I give and receive more positive energy?

Now that I am accepting my 100% I can also stop projecting and hopefully stop co-creating. Which means I can bring freedom and space and love (lots of!) to a situation where there was previously more drama than I wanted (or needed).

tell me if this resonates with you too - leave me some feedback or comments :)

The feeling that you get when you leave someone you know is not right for you is different for everyone. For me it was liberating. Everything that happens from that moment on is a chance to redefine who you are and what you are. In fact every moment irrespective of your past is a new moment to redefine and find out who you are.

But the process of redefining who you are takes time. It takes time to let go of the destructive and negative thoughts and images that were in place for so long. It takes time to see what truly was right and what was wrong. Every moment is an opportunity to learn.

The 1 secret step to make big long lasting health changes!

I am now 36 years old and can’t remember a time when I haven’t suffered from acne since becoming a teenager and for a long time I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks too. I have tried all sorts of medications and creams from the doctor to try and get rid of the acne and I thought the anxiety and panic attacks would never go away. Both have caused me significant embarrassment and heartache throughout the years. At school I was bullied because of my acne and in my early twenties both the acne and the panic attacks regularly stopped me from leaving the house.
After giving birth to my son Drew about 3 years ago it quickly became obvious that he was allergic to dairy. His skin would look like he had a bad case of eczema and he had severe gas and could clear a room with his emissions! So I began to read up about dairy and its effects which led me onto looking into the Plant Powered way of eating. One of the fundamentals of eating this way which includes eating tons of vegetables, nuts, grains, pulses, fruits and seeds).

The one main step to sustainable and wonderful health is to juice and make smoothies to get all the wonderful benefits of the dark leafy greens.

Why I'm feeling grateful

I would like to take a moment to explain why I’m starting this New Year feeling extremely grateful.

Last year for me was enormous. In fact the last 4 years have created such an evolution that I no longer recognize who I was back then. I’m grateful for that. I’m grateful for a lot of things actually. Let me explain:

4 years ago my daughter died and the year that followed was the worst year of my life.
3 years ago I realized that strength is part of who we all are and events help you to come face to face with it and embrace it.
2 years ago my son was born.  His unquestionable lack of want and need to sleep at night, his dairy intolerance and his presence in my life caused some significant snowballs to roll.
9 months ago my marriage ended to a man whom I thought I knew but realized I didn’t.

It’s been very hard work.

4 easy step to make to most of everyday

A little while ago I decided I wanted to/needed to have more good days than bleurgh days.  I thought perhaps it was the situation I found myself in at that time (divorce is majorly stressful) but as the days, weeks progressed I started to wonder if it was more to do with a state of mind.

Most days I find it difficult to fit everything I want and need to do into the time slots I have available for each activity. I have to work, clean the house and do the shopping etc. I also have about 10 books, great books, waiting for me to read them and I can hear them calling me all the time.
I want to spend many many hours practicing my yoga, improving, progressing and feeling great in my own skin. I want to spend time meditating and honing those skills, I want to spend more time blogging and creating recipes and food. I also want to spend as much time as I can creating memories and experiences with my son whilst I can and of course teaching my yoga classes too.
