The feeling that you get when you leave someone you know is not right for you is different for everyone. For me it was liberating. Everything that happens from that moment on is a chance to redefine who you are and what you are. In fact every moment irrespective of your past is a new moment to redefine and find out who you are.
But the process of redefining who you are takes time. It takes time to let go of the destructive and negative thoughts and images that were in place for so long. It takes time to see what truly was right and what was wrong. Every moment is an opportunity to learn.
The one main step to sustainable and wonderful health is to juice and make smoothies to get all the wonderful benefits of the dark leafy greens.
Buckwheat and banana pancakes for breakfast!
This is a massive win with my toddler and they're very healthy too. They're so delicious that they're like a treat but they're packed full of loads of goodness.
1 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 ground flaxseed
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup almond milk (or any plant based milk)
Mix it all together until totally blended and then cook until a little brown on each side on a medium to low heat.
Add some agave syrup if you want and serve.
Lunch today - 2 glasses of this chocolate heaven smoothie.
3 medjool dates
2 bananas (or more if you want it thicker)
1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk (I use Alpo)
2 tips raw cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp hemp seeds
Blend and enjoy!
This is my absolute favourite smoothie. I am a big chocoholic and this really satisfies any chocolate cravings I get. 🌿🍫
Chocolate and plants! What more could you ask for? It's also low calorie, full of protein and omegas and antioxidants. Great for feeling fantastic and vibrant.
As usual I would really love to hear what you think and if you've tried it - or made any amendments and what you did, so please leave you comments in the notes below.
The best way to give your body what it needs to function optimally - a green juice to start the day :) ☀️This one has in it:
1 romaine lettuce head
1 unpeeled lemon
1 piece of ginger
4 sticks of celery
This is absolutely my go-to morning drink. It sets my body up for the day. If I'm still hungry afterwards I'll have a bowl of porridge with chia seeds and almond milk.🌸
This juice is antioxidant-rich packed with the goodness of raw plants too. Its very refreshing and exceptionally alkalising. Great for you and tastes delicious.
If you try it, please leave a comment below and let me know how you get on with it. I would love to hear from you!
